TOUR 4: “Rachel’s tour”

DESCRIPTION: This tour is a true experience of Dalmatia. Exploring the Diocletian’s palace and diving into Jewish history and culture combined with the tasty Dalmatian tapas and ever so delicious extra virgin olive oil and local wine.
The tour starts on the biggest and oldest farmers market in Split where we stroll around the stalls and try what’s good and what’s in season. The tour continues throughout the Diocletian’s Palace and alongside all of the Jewish sights. It includes all of the Jewish landmarks and points of interest, visiting the Basements of the Palace, the former Jewish quarter and the synagogue.  After satisfying your thirst for knowledge it’s time to satisfy your hunger for local tradition. Our first stop is an iconic local tavern where we will have some local homemade grappa. Next stop is a restaurant where we will be treated with a lecture on proper way to taste olive oil and sample some of the best Croatian extra virgin olive oils, all accompanied with more snacks.
